Okay so in my heart, I am a Kootenay girl but if I had to pick a second place the Okanagan would be in the list of finalists. I found this cute art deco house via mls.ca while daydreaming about living in Summerland, BC. Notice the cactus detailing - ain't it charming??

Taken by Daryl Mitchell (under the set Interesting Houses) - this man has inspired me to try and capture some of the interesting houses and buildings here in Ottawa. I only lived in Saskatoon for two years - long enough to gain a thorough appreciation for all of the art deco houses there. I SO wish these houses was here in Ottawa, I would buy one of em up.
