It's sale season though I haven't really found anything that I "need" to buy for my space. I noticed a store that I haven't heard about in the paper - les intériurs Decorleans. Pretty website - anyone been? Apparently their warehouse is even open for the sale. For some reason, the mere mention of warehouse makes me all excited.

Perfect Hardware

A few years ago, I discovered the great shopping experience that is Lee Valley Tools. As a particular refinisher, I'm also hunting for the Perfect Handle. Lee Valley not only has beautiful (and affordable!) reproductions, they are also open to suggestions. Based in Canada, they ship world-wide.

I'm currently considering these classic pulls for my kitchen - I'm going for an updated retro inspired space with bright colours and clean lines. I'll probably change my mind ten times before I settle but I think I would always be happy with these...

The Mid-Century Modernist

So my hub loves all things Eames - as a result, I'm starting to incorporate a bit more mid-century modern pieces into our space. I'm completely clueless about design but with sites like The Mid-Century Modernist, I'm figuring things out.

In Search of the Perfect Buffet

I want this for my dining room - to serve as some sort of buffet. Oddly enough, I found the item from a Church supplier in the US that doesn't ship to Canada...That said, I did manage to find a custom acrylic shop that would gladly make it to order and ship it to my home in Canada - Muniz Plastics! Now I just have to convince my husband that I neeeeed it...
